I know heart palpitations are normal in pregnancy, I've had them my first pregnancy and in this one as well. But recently, within the last 2 weeks, it's been so much worse. My heart feels like it's skipping like 2-3 beats at a time, it takes the breath out of me. And then afterward there's like one huge thump. This happens a lot when I'm just laying around not doing anything. I'm sitting at work and have been for about an hour and I've had about 4 of these "heart skipping" moments within that time. Is this normal?? It actually feels a little painful when it happens. I have a doctors appointment this coming week so I'll mention this to my doctor but just wanted to see if anyone here has had this happen?
