I sincerely believe some men suffer from depression after a baby is born. Some don't do well with adjustments. He may just be finding reasons and being upset with them. The baby clearly looks like the both of you.

That's messed up if him to say BUT I will say that it takes some people a lot more time to bond with their baby. It took me a year to feel that all encompassing motherly love. I'm sure he'll grow his bond with baby just give it time :)

That middle photo with them is too cute! The little one does look like him there.
There are mothers who didn't have  connection with their babies right away and they birthed them. Is that normal? It sure is. Sometimes it takes time and I'm sure your SO will end up falling in love his son soon.

I feel like many newborns kind of have a generic squishy appearance at first. I'm sorry he said that. I think they have the same eyebrows. Maybe he needs to see his own baby pictures and see them next to each other.
