I got my belly pierced today! How long does it take before you can change the jewel, swim, etc.?

Omg belly Button in the longest to heal. I'd give it 6 months at least. Don't mess with it or it will get infected.

If you're going to the beach it's fine and good for the piercing if your going in chlorine it'll irritate the piercing but won't be bad for it if you're going into a lake just don't because it'll get infected 
For the piercing to heal it's around 6 months so I wouldn't change it until then

I had mine pierced 3x and I think I remember waiting 1 month

I had mine done a long time ago so can't quite remember, but I think about a week to swim (in a chlorinated pool, longer for a lake or water that isn't clean)...taking it out, I think it was about 6 months, it takes longer than most other piercings because it's in such a tissuey area ☺️
