I started the Ortho Evra patch a couple of weeks ago. I used the First Start method of putting my first patch on within the first 24 hours of my period. I bled quite a bit due to my period, but my periods typically only last up to 5 days...well, My actual period has stopped, but I am still having spotting when I wipe. I am now on day four of my second patch, making my bleeding 11 days. I haven't been on BC for about six years, and I never experienced breakthrough bleeding when I was on the Pill so this is new to me. If you use the patch, how long did it take your body to adjust and stop bleeding?
