God's perfect timing

God is never early, He's never late, He's always on time.
Our concept of time is certainly not the same as God’s concept of time because God is the creator of time and His timing is perfect. I know waiting on God is never easy, it can be hard at times when we are believing and waiting on God to answer our prayers and it seems as if the answer is not forthcoming, we should not be discouraged. When Habakkuk became depressed because he didn’t think God was acting quickly enough, God had this to say to him in Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
We should trust in God's timing, that He's never early. The story of Joseph in Genesis 37: 39-50 is a great example of God’s timing. If God had rescued Joseph from prison at that time because of what the Cupbearer told the king, Joseph would have been put back into his original position as Potiphar’s servant. But God allowed 2 years to pass because God had something much greater in store for Joseph even though Joseph didn’t know it.
Another example of God’s perfect timing is in John 11: 1-44 the story of Lazarus being raised from the dead. God is never late, if Jesus had healed Lazarus while he was sick, there would not have been as many people gathered as there were when they came to mourn his death and God wouldn't have received greater glory.
God knows the beginning, the end and everything in between, He has a greater plan and purpose that is beyond us and our prayer, we should learn to trust in His perfect timing
