Do prenatal vitamins affect your cycle?

This is my first month trying and my first month taking he vitamins and I'm not getting my period but also not getting a postive pregnancy test. I'm currently 10 or 11 dpo and 5 days late on my period. I am never this late. Do prenatals affect the length of your cycle? My cycles are never longer than 32 days and I'm in cycle day 36.

I find I have this issue with prenatals too. It causes my period to come a few days later and I often spot longer. It’s weird and annoying.

They don't affect your cycle, but like the first person said-coming off birth control can. Also, are you sure you are 5 days late? 10dpo is usually still within the two week wait for most people unless you ovulate really really late. That would be like you ovulate and then get your period 5 days later....the 5 days is usually 2 weeks for most people. I have consistent 28 day cycles and my missed period isn't until 15dpo.

If this is your first month ttc, are you just off birth control? Prenatal vitamins won't effect your cycle, but going off the pill will. Best of luck!
