1 or 2 DPO?

So Friday I got my solid smiley on the clear blue advanced digital which means I hit my peak. Yesterday I tested with just the regular clear blue ovulation tests and got a smiley as well. I'm not sure when I should start counting my DPO. The initial day I got my smiley, or the 2nd day? (This is my first month TTC and checking ovulation which is why I'm asking) TIA!

You ovulate for 2 strong days the 2nd day is your highest peak then you have 2 days after that it dwindles down. We bd for 8 days straight took a break 3 days after the ovulation window. If your having clear discharge in your panties or in your cervix you're fertile. If it's milky or cloudy you missed your time. Does that make sense? You can do bbt test also on those days and see when your temp spikes up. Make sure to mark the days you tested on a calendar so if you missed your window you know when to start watching for temp changes next cycle.
