Baby Monitor With or Without Camera ?

Question

I don't have wifi at home , due to living way out in the country . Are there any baby monitors with the camera that don't use wifi?

I don't think it's worth the money. If you feel the need to see your baby all of the time I would just have them sleep in the same room as me. Plus, with the hacking that could happen - it creeps me out. An audio monitor is sufficient and does the job for much cheaper.

I LOVE my Levano camera monitor. It does not use wifi, and in addition to the camera feature which has been great as my girl got older so I could see if she was trying to climb out of her crib before I got to her, it has an audio button that lets me talk to her. The audio button is the best now that she's older - when she tries to climb out, I talk to her and she gets right down knowing I'm on my way. Also when she wakes up at night, I can sing to her on the monitor and she falls back as keep. Another great thing for the audio is when they transition to a toddler bed and have a hard time staying in bed now that they have freedom, you can see they're out and tell them to go back to bed without having to go in their room 👍

My Samsung doesn't connect to wifi. Completely closed system. Love it because sometimes baby cries in her sleep but will go back down without interaction. If I went in there it would wake her up. She is in her own room.

We have a Summer monitor & It doesn't run on wifi b/c we were afraid of the same thing. We got our on Amazon for a decent price, then upgraded to a Summer side by side monitor when we found out baby #2. We love ours!

It does not use wifi. I love it. Had it now for 1.5 years. Just bought a 3rd camera for baby #2.

I have a motorolla that doesn't use wifi. I got it at target. We use ours for when she sleeps but also if she's playing in her room and I'm out doing laundry or dishes or something. I can just look and make sure she's fine.

I have seen lots online that don't have wifi. I had never used a baby monitor with a camera before baby sitting at someone's house. I absolutely loved it. It helps when baby makes a little noise or you just want to see if they have fallen asleep yet. Instead of going in and waking them back up. I am definitely getting one!

I refuse to buy one with wifi accessablility! They can easily be hacked into, meaning people can watch your baby sleep. There are tons without wifi accessibility. They just have a receiver and monitor. They are much harder to get hacked. I recommend getting one. That way if you hear a sound you can see what's going on without risking waking the baby by entering the room.

I live in a one bedroom apartment I'll only need a monitor if I take the dog out while the baby is sleeping an audio monitor is sufficient. If you live in like a two story I'd get one with a video just to see if the noise is them awake or soothing themselves back to sleep before you go all the way up the stairs.

Motorola makes a camera that does not require wifi. That's what I use. You can also set it up with more monitors and more cameras in the future
