boy or umbilical cord?

I got my gender ultrasound at 15 weeks 5 days. The tech clearly thought boy and we are so excited but I just want opinions does this look like a boy, or could it be the umbilical cord? Thanks!!!

It could be a boy. I have never had a scan that early in either of my pregnancies so it is hard for me to say. I would wait until you are father along though to get a more clear look and let the baby grow a bit. I think the earlier the scans the more likely you will be told the wrong gender. My doctor always said the best time to find out the gender is around 18 weeks and after.

I can't really tell from the picture. Here's mine from 14 weeks for comparison. Have them check again if you have any doubts. I was told boy at 20 weeks with my daughter and didnt find out she was a girl until 30 something weeks

Looks like a boy...... girl's I have heard looks like 3 lines ......plus if it was the cord I think the tech would have noticed they check the length of the cord etc
