So, baby Liam was born on Easter, April 16th.

I know how to count,lol. but idk what is considered "correct" as far as "age". (For growth spurts and milestone reasons)

So, he was born at 38weeks 4 days, after my water broke in my bed in the middle of the night.

He'd be "8 weeks" now, if we're counting since the day he was born (in weeks)

But what if he was born at 40 weeks gestation?

E.G. My baby was born at 38 weeks 4 days on April 16th. And YOUR baby was born at 41 weeks 1 day, ALSO born on April 16th.

Are our babes the "same age?"

I'm mostly wondering this because of a possible growth spurt. I thought he had his 6 week growth spurts 2 weeks ago.

But now I am not so sure.

If he was born at 38+4 does that make him closer to 8 weeks right now? Or should I subtract time since I did not go the full 40 weeks gestation, making him closer to 6 weeks???

Also wondering in regards to reaching milestones, (I know all kids are different. Some hit them early. Some late. Some real late. But it's nice to know what to be on the lookout for. I.E. socially smiling , cooing, batting at toys.
