Faint OPK control lines?

This is my first month using OPKs. From other people's pictures of their OPKs, I'm concerned because all the control lines on my OPKs are super faint! Am I using them incorrectly or something?

I'm not in my fertile window yet so I'm not getting a test line yet.

Don't worry too much until you get into the fertile window... my line is almost nothing sometimes... but it should start getting darker once you're in the window

I feel like I'm using the wrong too but I think closer to fertile window the darker the control line is probably and then the test line will start to show mine is the same way though so I feel your pain lol 😂
