metformin

I was just diagnosed with pcos and a slightly elevated testoerone level.. I have a regular periods and I think I ovulate. My blood work came back normal. I have been able to conceive 3 times but can't make it past that point.. my dr just gave me 500 mg of metformin to see if it helps and if/when I fall pregnant I'll start something else. My question is, has anyone been in my situation!? Normal periods. Some hair growth. Thanks!
