Metformin and Vitex

I started taking Vitex during my last cycle. I took it for about 2-3 months probably and it didn't ever make me ovulate or bring on a period, but it did help regulate my bbt. I finally got in to the doctor and she gave me provera to induce my period and metformin to help me ovulate. After finishing the provera I finally got my period and I started temping again and my temps are over the place again because I haven't been taking Vitex since starting metformin. Has anyone taken both Vitex and metformin together?
