TTC and secrects.

So I am actively trying to conceive. When and if I do get pregnant I want to keep my pregnancy a secret from everyone except my husband until we are at least 6 months along. He wants to let everyone know as soon as it happens. My only fear is that if we let everyone know right away it will be 100× harder for me if we lose the baby. Where if I lose the baby and nobody knows it will make it easier. Any suggestions?
