Waking the baby?

Question

Does anyone else press on their belly just a little where your baby is just to sort of make sure they're okay and to make them kick? I guess I'm "waking" him or her up. My SO hates it and tells me to let baby sleep, but what can I say, I'm paranoid.

When my husband tells me not to do something bc of the baby...I ask the OB infront of him is it ok and leave it at that lmao.

I use it as reassurance because my son stopped kicking me after 38 weeks for 2 days because he had no room to move and he had to be induced 
So id keep doing it and tell your doctor if anything changes in the baby kicks, it can save its life!!!

I just watch for his breathing. Never wake a sleeping baby!!😅😅😅

My doctor said there is nothing wrong with doing that! A lot of their movements are when they are sleeping anyway so chances are they aren't even waking up from it.

Sometimes I try to walk up a hill in the grass or something just to really get my hips really moving and he kicks like crazy.
