could I be pregnant??
8 weeks ago, on Easter Sunday I lost my baby Thomas at 20 weeks gestation due to an infection I'd never heard of called chorioamnionitis. This was my first pregnancy so I took care of myself but when the time came I didn't understand what was happening. Friday morning I bled a bit so I went to the hospital thinking something was wrong. The nurses checked me and Thomas and assured me it was normal. Saturday morning I went back and they told me I had a bladder infection and gave me an antibiotic and a shot of morphine for the pain. The rest of the day and night I was in severe pain which they'd told me was normal because of the infection. I tried to sleep but I felt like I was having the worst cramps I'd ever experienced. Sunday morning I begged my husband for pain pills a heating pack help into the shower anything that could help me so I wouldn't have to go to the hospital a third time that weekend. After I showered, I laid on our couch in my towel in and out of sleep when unbeknownst to me, my water broke and my little boys foot made its way out of me. Paramedics tried to help us but in the ambulance my little boy stopped moving because of being breached.
Has anyone been through chorio before and had another baby? The last week or two I've been feeling super sick the way I felt when I found out I was pregnant before so I took two pregnancy tests which came out positive.
Could I really be pregnant already or could it be leftover hcg from my first pregnancy? If I am pregnant I will be over the moon with excitement and fear or chorio again. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
