every day or every other day?

So my husband and I are TTC and I've heard to have sex every other day because sperm lives 3-5 days inside. I was wondering, it won't lower your chances or anything if you have it everyday will it? I feel dumb 🤷🏽‍♀️

When we conceived we did it everyday starting when I finished af until after my fw. We did stay away from oral (since Ive read saliva can kill sperm) and masterbation. We also did new things to spicy it up. I wanted to make sure he was completely aroused.
