Boy or girl ?

Question

So I had my first sono at 8 weeks exactly and doctor told us heart rate is 173.
There is a big debate 
If hr is fast is it most likely a boy or girl? 
Or is it vice versa ?
Thoughts ? 
Was told it was a myth

If the heart beat is high it's a girl if it's lower it's a boy so they say but that doesn't always mean anything I'm pregnant at 8 weeks right now the heart beat is at 171 every one keeps saying girl because it's high but my sister had a girl and the heart beat was 150 the whole pregnancy and everyone thought boy so it's not always true
