I didn't lose a single pound of "baby weight" until after I stopped breastfeeding. Dropped 25lbs the month I stopped.

I was a little sad (mostly because I knew it was the end of our special bond 😭) but no hormonal changes other than my sex drive slowly ramped back up to what was my "normal". We weaned very slowly, so I had no discomfort or any noticeable changes really!

I haven't stopped breastfeeding so.. l wouldn't know. Lol. #2YearsAnd4Months💪

...and then became pregnant a week later 🤷🏾♀️

I've been breastfeeding for 40 months straight. I nursed my first through my next pregnancy and tandem nursed them for three months. My baby just turned 1 and still prefers booby over food..

I cried for a whole week straight when I got to the last bottle of breast milk my son who’s now 4 would ever have. There’s just this bond and strong connection that comes with breastfeeding even if you’re pumping and giving it in a bottle. Once it’s time to break the connection it feels just like breaking up with your first bf. My son is 4 now and the healthiest little boy.

Daughter weaned at 13.5m. I wish more people would talk about the hormones after BF.

Breastfeeding is a constant battle for me. I’ve been taking it week by week and I haven’t given up yet. Two weeks and going strong. Unfortunately, I’m battling mastitis on my left breast. The same issue I had with my first born. So painful but nursing through.

I started nursing my first and didn't stop till I was 4 months pregnant then nursed my second till I was 5 months pregnant so not really because breastfeeding hormones turned into pregnancy hormones. I've been a crazy hormonal mess for 4 years 😂😂😂
