so confused 🤷🏼‍♀️

Has anyone else have an irregular period on the pill? I'm on alesse 28 almost a year now and I find that it works in a pattern, one month it will come during sugar pills and then the next month will come between second and third week of active pills abd so on is that even normal ? Do u still have protection against pregnancy? Idk how to fix that as I don't want to go on higher doses or different phases pills
