Weight gain/loss 😅 ADVICE???

Okay so I know being self conscious of your body is completely normal but it's been a little worse than usual lately. I used to be pretty healthy and happy with my weight but I just went through a toxic relationship that caused me to gain a lot of weight in the process and I'm not really feeling as great as I used to. I guess I just really need more help with my self control but everyone I've tried to get help from hasn't​ really helped. Do you ladies got any advice on how to loose weight efficiently or tips on how to improve my self control??
