TMI- nipple problems! My right nipple (the left i the photo) is super red, sore, and inflamed. Why?? Has this happened to any of you?

Sometimes my nipples get like that if I'm wearing a bra with a rougher fabric or a shirt with no bra. I usually put some nonscented lotion or coconut oil on them and let them heal up!

just keep it clean and dry and if you start feeling any sore bumps/lumps in your breast then go to to a doc cause i got an infected cyst in my breast through my nipple and it was the most painful thing i've ever experienced.

That has happened to me. Nipples are sensative. As long as you don't have discharge it should be ok. Just wear free shirts to let it breathe

Mine was exactly like that a few months ago and it was cellulitis! You'll need antibiotics for that. If it stays that way I'd go to the ER

Not to sound perverted but if you've had someone playing with your nipple and the squeezed it a little harder than normal then you could have some major irritation from that. It should be fine within a week but I'd contact your doctor just in case.

That's happened to me after I swim, my nips are easily angered at chlorine, and sometimes sweat. Have they had a harsh chemical near them?
