Braxton hicks?

Is it possible to be having Braxton hicks at17 weeks?

I'm so glad someone else is having it because I was going to make a post! I'm a ftm and started having them week 17! My dr didn't really sound like it was ok, they kept saying rest and drink water and if you have more than 4 in an hr come in to the hospital. So I've been stressed about them, but it's normal right? I can't rest at work and that's when they really get going (around 4 an hour).  And I surely can't stop working 🙄

What do they feel like?

I'm 16 weeks and I've been getting them since about 13 weeks, I've been told drinking lots of water will help with them. But I have definitely gotten more than 4 in an hour. Sometimes I'll get like 3 or 4 in a row then won't fee anything for a few hours then feel one then in like 15 minutes another. They are literally all over the place.  I wouldn't worry at all unless they are painful like period cramps, those could be real contractions. But a little uncomfortable pains is typical.

You get them throughout your pregnancy, they just become more noticeable and some people don't notice them at all... totally normal as long as there is no pain, they got away when resting and they aren't time-able😊
