why did I buy a Doppler?!

Question

I hit 10 weeks today, so to celebrate I decided to buy a Doppler lol bad idea! I can find the placenta and hear it but I can't find baby! I feel like I'm just freaking myself out but it's true what they say about these things!!

Edit: after much use of YouTube, I found the heartbeat! Sooooo cool!! I try not to use it often but it's definitely reassuring

Don't worry too much! I found it at home after watching a YouTube video when I was 9 weeks 4 days but my doctor said they typically can't find it until 12 weeks and she was impressed I'd found it. The best tip I found was to angle the head of it a bit and push down a little. Your baby is so small still that it's certainly tricky to find! Give it a few weeks and once your dr finds it you'll know the general area to look ☺️

My doctor couldn't even find my baby's heart beat until 14 weeks. I couldn't find it with my own Doppler until 16 weeks. It just caused me a lot of unecessary stress lol

At home Dopplers cause so much unnecessary stress, I really wanted one but then I read about how many women were stressing because they couldn't find the heartbeat and instantly got turned off it 😂 as much as I'd love to hear my baby every day I don't think stressing every day you can't find it is very healthy for the little one

Look at YouTube videos on how to find it. It will be super low like by your pubic bone almost

My baby was so low I couldn't hear his heart eat till I was almost 18 weeks. I heard the placenta but nothing else. Panicked me for 18 weeks. My sonogram tech pretty much laughed at me for even trying so early bc it was so small and I didn't no what I was looking for. I would never buy a doppler again until I'm  14 15 weeks. To much stress for nothing

I found my baby yesterday at 7 weeks 6 days twice and I found the baby again today at 8 weeks it took me a min to find the baby tho today...It's not the Doppler...You have to take your time because the baby is not just going to show...

I love my Doppler.. I started using it at 10 weeks. It  gets easier and easier to find it each time you use it.

I found mine around 9.5 weeks. I could only find it on an empty bladder with pillows under my butt and pointing the want downwards at my pelvic bone. It was super low
