Depo Shot Question

Hello! I have been off the depo shot just little over 6 months now. Got my period about 2 months after stopping and had them regularly every 22 days and would last 4 to 5 days. This last one was maybe a day and then (tmi) brown discharge for a couple days later. Did take a test it was negative just to make sure. Not sure if my body is still trying to adjust being off of it since I was on it for 6+ years. Has anyone else experience this?
