when do you start taking ovulation test ??

We have been TTC for 8 months now with no luck... We agree to start using ovulation test for a few months to hopefully help us get our BFP... When should u start testing daily?? I'm on day 3 of AF currently ... Please help I've never tracked my ovulation before and really lost on what to do

I follow the sperm meets egg plan (loosely) start using OPKs on CD 10 and BD every other day until positive OPK. On positive I BD day of positive, next 2 days, skip a day then one more time.

I started on cd 7, every morning, same time, and got my peak day on cd 15. Af is due tomorrow and I've still got my fingers crossed!! 🤞🏻

As soon as my period ends. I have really irregular cycles. I've missed it starting too late.

I have 30-33 day cycles so I start on day 10 and test both morning and evening incase I miss the surge. So I test at 10am and again at 7pm making sure I've not had fluids at least 2hrs prior to testing. I'm 3dpo (days past ovulation) today x
