My period is exactly 7 days late, i don't wanna get over excited just to be let down... So my question is how soon can I take a test?

Definitely test now!!! I've seen lots of posts about women who still got a BFN even when they were over a week late, so try not to be too disappointed if it's negative. You're not out until AF shows!
