How can i get myself to dialate ?

I had my 38 week appt this morning and apparently baby is all the way down.  I still have a thick cervix and no dialation... is there a way to help me dialate?

Im just about in the same boat. Ive read that sex, walking, eating spicy food or nipple stimulation might get it going. Worka for some but not all. Ill be 38 wks this friday, so ill probably try some of those things starting next week.

Nope some women dialated over last couple weeks and some don't until active labor. I wouldn't worry. Trust your body.
