What should I do???

I'm 8 months pregnant and I feel like I should be doing more...like whT should I have prepared? What do i pack in hospital bag...what needs to be ready when we get home??? Panic mode

Hospital bag can be simple and check with your hospital for specifics. My hospitals website does list what you will have provided. I would take two comfy outfits I didn't even bother with panties because I use the mesh and like it and they give me extra lol. A bra, maybe two. Toothbrush, tooth paste , soap/shampoo/conditioner. My hospital provides non slip socks for mom. For baby I would do two outfits , one blanket, a pacifier if you plan to use it. My hospital provides diapers and wipes, nasal aspirator, shirt for baby, receiving blankets, comb, baby wash for a bath.

Dad will need some comfy clothes, maybe a pillow and blanket whatever to make him feel comfortable, toothbrush/paste. And all electronics like phones, camera laptop if needed and their chargers.

Money for the cafeteria or some delivery for dad and an extra tote bag or something because people often bring little gifts for baby.

Just keep the house clean as you can so there's nothing to worry about at home. Set up the swing/bassinet/ crib but baby will spend most time with you :)

I'm in denial mode so I don't have anything ready 😂
However, you could prepare baby your hospital bag, make sure car seat is installed, have money ready for birth certificate, if no ones going to be around to help afterwards have some freezer meals prepared.

You can wash baby's sheet and blankets and a couple outfits. If you have a swing for baby you could set that up. You don't need much in your hospital bag except things to wear home for you and baby and maybe toiletries if you don't want to use the ones the hospital provides. You could also install your carseat and take it to a nearby fire station that does safety checks to make sure it's installed correctly
