$500 for first prenatal appointment. is this a normal cost
I have my first 8 week appointment on Friday. I do not have health insurance so I'm paying cash. I was quoted $500 for the first prenatal appointment.
Just wanted to know if this was about right?
They said they are doing an ultrasound. They will send me to a lab to get blood work, so no in house blood work being done. And a possible Pap smear but not sure because I just had one 5 months ago.
