Since getting the mirena iud in feb ive had constant yeast infections. I've tried antifungal meds prescribed by my clinic and vaginal cream two separate times. But i can't seem to get rid of it and it only keeps coming back a few days after the last one. When I looked it up online many people had the same experience and some studies said yeast can live in the strings or on the iud.
