I'm trying to find out what's necessary and what's not. Basically I'm just gonna lay out my plan and you guys add whatever comments. This is my first and I don't have a mom to talk to so I don't know what's what really.

Basically I'm getting a bassinet and my son will be sleeping in our room for the first three to four months. Our room isn't big enough to fit a huge crib in it so we'll be buying that when he's two months old so it isn't just sitting there for months and months on end.

The things I'm having trouble with is should I get a swing, a bouncer, and play pen? Are they really necessary? Our house is small and we're going to be moving around a lot so I'm trying to keep it down to necessary things and things that I'm actually going to use. I want him to have things that he needs and that are going to be of use to him. I don't want anything going to waste or just taking up space. I'm kind of overwhelmed with these decisions and I need help. Any advice or recommendations would be wonderful.
