I know this is weird and I'm probably going to get crap from the chicks on here that love to bully others. But have any of you taken a break with a SO to see if you missed them?

Yeah, my fiancé and I were having a lot of problems about a year ago. He wanted a break to give himself time think about what he wanted. The break is was supposed to last a month, but he came home after four days because he didn't need anymore time. We've never hit a patch that rough ever since! Not long after that is when we decided to start ttc and now our baby boy is due in 3 weeks!

Kind of? But it was him and it wasn't intentional. We took a break while we were still in the 'talking phase' of the relationship because he didn't want to commit at the time because he had a lot going on and didn't want to burden me with it but after taking a month long break, he had people trying to set him up with other girls and I was seeing other guys, circumstances made us realize that we should be together.

I would never want to be away from my SO because there was something wrong. Before taking a break I would 1.) talk it out, 2.) couples thereapy if available 3.) take a break. Also, it never hurts to take Couples Thereapy if there is no problems yet! It helps for you to learn more about each other in a way that you never think of.

Yes and I didn't and we broke up. A "break" is a pussy footing way of making a slow breakup rather than ripping off the bandaid.
