Felt fine until I hit 6 weeks. Nausea is depressing.

Anna • First time Mommy. So thankful for my loving and caring husband. Excited and blessed beyond belief!
Dealing with nausea or have lived through it? I'd love to hear what's worked for you! I wrote down a few things I've tried.
A week before my missed period I felt a bout of fatigue unlike anything I had ever felt before. I could barely keep my eyes open at work and it was impossible to focus. I knew it was an early indicator and after taking several early pregnancy tests, we confirmed that we were indeed expecting!
Having previously had a molar pregnancy, I was at first obsessed over the possibility that it could happen again. It had been nearly 8 years since that pregnancy, but still I worried. (There is a small chance, something like 2% of people who have previously had it, to have it again). But I knew there was no point stressing over something that only time could tell.

Symptom-wise, week 4 and 5 were much more tolerable. I had a bit of spotting that had us worried, so I got a blood test to confirm my hcg levels. I was nearly 18,000 mL. Which they confirmed was a very good level and that the spotting was likely due to constipation....So that was good to hear, minus the fact that my body was bloated and constipated. Overall, I felt good and was still so happy!
But when week 6 rolled around, I was hit with nausea that made it hard to drive, eat, keep food down when I could eat, and made it hard to focus on anything but how sick I felt. :( I had hit a low, worried that I would feel this way for several more weeks. It felt like food or alcohol poisoning - such a tender and sensitive tummy. I wanted it to pass.
I did some research and found a few remedies that could help. I'm drinking chamomile tea, eating almonds, trying Apple Cider Vinegar + honey, and ginger tummy drops. They've helped a little, but I just hate that I can't eat healthy portions. I literally had plain scrambled eggs and white rice for dinner because I couldn't stomach the idea of eating anything else. I just hope the baby is getting what it needs.
Thankfully, I'm still able to keep my prenatal vitamins down, so here's to hoping my baby is OK. Do you have any advice you can share? I'll take positive vibes too! Just want to stay upbeat.
