Have any of you been prescribed an anti depressant for PPD and still been able to breastfeed? I am already 8 months pp but have really felt down for a while now and it's only when i'm at work. I have an amazing job but I can't stand being away from my baby. I cry almost every day. Quitting my job is not an option. I don't know if what I am experiencing is ppd but I just want to feel better. I am contemplating making an appointment with my obgyn but don't want to take any medications if it will affect my breastfeeding. Just wanted to see if any of you ladies were in a similar situation and if so, what medication were you prescribed? Thanks in advance!
