Would you walk your daughter to school at 9 days postpartum?? Its a 20 min walk there and back so 40 min trip total.....at 7 days pp I did simple things around the house like loqding the dishes washing his bottles got some supper started.....then i started bleeding blood again it was like a big gush....then a not so big one .it stopped again.....but i think to.much activity may make me bleed more again?

P.s i would have to do the trip twice to pick her up again.

I said yes until I realized the distance. I would not walk that far.

That much activity will make your bleeding worse
 I wouldn't suggest it. That's way too far and way too long.  You don't want that bleeding worse than it has to be.

Depends....do I have to in order for child to go to school or is there an alternative option? Obviously I'd rather drive but I had third baby about 9 days ago and I am fine if I had to walk child to school. Nurse/drs said I can walk just nothing more for 6 weeks. If I cud drive I would drive as why walk 40 min twice a day if I cud drive. But if walking is only option I sure would walk my kid to school.

Life doesnt stop just because you had a baby so if thats your way of getting your child to and from school then just leave earlier so you can take your time but you can go about your normal routines if you feel up to it

I did everything id normally do as soon as I left the hospital. Definitely did not restrict myself at a week PP. I lugged my twins and 6 year old around everywhere.

Personally I wouldn't risk it... I done so much damage after my first I was still bleeding at 2wks PP and I started exercising again to be skinny for my wedding 2months later! I bled in total 7wks because of me not giving my body a break!

If you feel up to it, I don't see anything wrong with it. Just make sure that you stop and rest if you need it, and that you have plenty of water. Maybe even consult your OB before hand?

One of my favorite sports players' wife gave birth, and she was up taking the new baby and their 1 year old twins for walks only 5 days after birth. There's no right or wrong answer, it just really depends on how you feel. Everyone heals at different rates, but if you don't feel up to it, I definitely wouldn't do it as you don't want to push yourself.

I think walking is good but 40 minutes might be a bit much plus I'm assuming you'll have your LO... is there anyone that can take her... since it's a 20 minute walk that means the school is probably 10-12 minutes away...
