So I want to get a couple tattoos.  They would be small, but visible.  I am also very close with my mom and come from a mostly LDS family.  I want to be respectful,  but also am 31 years old and feel like I can make my own decisions. What I am wondering is if I should just get them and then show my mom? Or talk to my mom first out of respect and let her know that I'm planning on doing it?  Also, if you have them do you regret them or love them?
