Okay so yesterday I was at work, I kept getting these terrible stomach pains and lower back pains. I was in tears, I had my boyfriend pick me up because my boss wouldn't let me drive home. My boyfriend told his mother what was going on with me because she's been a nurse for over 15years she made him stop at CVS to get me a UTI test to take at home. I've been peeing frequently, I don't have any blood in my urine, and it doesn't hurt when I pee. The test strips came back positive for a UTI so I went to my doctor today so I can take one there to confirm it and get antibiotics but the test strip they used for my urine came back absolutely negative. Can anyone tell me why that happened? He said the test strips I used were contaminated but I don't see how they were
