Good Edible and Non Edible Lubes??

I lost my virginity a little over a year and a half ago but wasn't really active until these past eight months. Prior to dating me, my boyfriend was a virgin, so neither of us have a lot of experience. He asked me if I was willing to try using some lube to spice things up, but I don't know what kind to get!! I would be so grateful if some of you could drop suggestions in the comments of my post!
