Hello everyone, my name is Aniris. I am a first time mommy I just wanted to share with everyone that I am going to be induced tomorrow. My original due date was June 25th, but since my OB is concerned about my babys' weight (5lbs 12oz), they want to induced me and have my baby tomorrow. On Thursday, my OB checked to see if I was dialated or not. My cervix is still closed and her head is still high up, is what he said. I'm not sure how to prepare myself for tomorrow if I should be walking around a couple times or doing little dances or something? But before anything else, let me say that she has a Single Artery Umbilical Cord. Usually babies have three arteries in the umbilical but my baby has two and that causes growth to be a little slow. Tomorrow I will be 39 weeks and I really hoped that my baby would have gained some weight to be a little over six pounds but me and the father have been dying to have her here already so I guess you can say we're both pretty excited. 😊 If anyone could give me any lovely tips on what to expect or what I should do to prepare myself, I would gladly appreciate it.
