37 weeks and 3 days preggers for a couple of nights now I've been having the worst gassy pains and waking up with loose stools each morning not really diarrhea but softer than normal. When it first started I thought it was something I ate but now I'm not sure. Not feeling sick no fever. Just curious what it could be and anyone else experiencing this too?

This is happening to me now too. 37+1 here. I keep feeling gassy with no results and have what I like to call "constipated diarrhea". It's soft like peanut butter or toothpaste but it seems like I have to work to get it out. Ugh. Hopefully what previous poster said is true and we're just getting ready to have our littles!

Yes I have been having this for the past few weeks! I'm 36weeks and have been constipated throughout the entire pregnancy and then a few weeks ago it just suddenly changed and I was getting severe stomach cramps, trapped wind and going a few times a day. I spoke to my OB and they said that it could be the hormones as we are getting another surge of them at this point and that along with the baby putting pressure on the bowels can cause things to start working more. I'm hoping it doesn't last too long as I'm in so much pain every night I can't sleep!
