My married initials are SS, and my job requires frequent use of initials to sign things. I don't think SS is a problem, but I do spend the extra time to write my full initials, middle included, instead of the quicker SS, because my primary association with those letters alone is nazis. So if you like that name, I'd go ahead and use it, for sure! But I'd make sure she has a middle name too, so she has the option of a set of initials with an extra letter in there.
