Would you tell him

My dad and I have always had a complicated relationship. He was emotionally abusive throughout my childhood. As an adult I've learned to put distance between us and be stronger when dealing with him. We talk on the phone every two weeks or so and I go and visit him once a year. In the past few years, I've moved from the US to Europe, gotten married, and now I'm pregnant. My dad refused to meet my husband when we were engaged because he is black. So... I never told him we got married in the courthouse. My dad refuses for me to even talk about him. All this said I feel close to my Dad and want to tell him about his grandchild but his love has always been conditional. What would you do?
