a question for all the laundry queens

This is driving me crazy. One of my favorite shirts I got from Ross in 2011. It came out of the maternity section but you'd never know it (unless I was pregnant hah). It hasn't faded. It's been a respectable piece of my wardrobe 🤣. However.... the sweat smell will NOT wash out of the underarm section. I had this problem with other shirts, but quitting (commercial) deodorants in 2013 has helped, but this one still clings on to sweat smell. Luckily there are no "pit stains", it's just the smell. I've tried scented detergent (I usually use Dreft or black Woolite), I've scrubbed it with dr bronner's before washing it, I've soaked it... what can I do? Everyone always compliments me smelling good (even when I dont wear fragrance), but I KNOW it's there in this particular shirt. 😓 any ideas on how to combat this?!? So embarrassing
