does nexplanon still work if it's crooked? please help I am so scared...

Okay so I got mine almost 2 weeks ago. And near the hole where it was inserted I can feel the implant there it just feels a little deep/thick like if it's swollen inside where I got it. But as I go down the implant when I am feeling for it closer to my arm pit when I press down a little bit the tip sticks up where I can see and feel it. I am scared because I was told it doesn't work if it's not in right: the doctor felt for it when she did it and didn't say anything besides wait a week. The condom broke yesterday when I was having sex and he had came in it too. So I'm a little scared and need some advice. Should I get plan b? Or is this ok? I just don't know because I've never had an implant before
