Just really need some reassurance. My mom had pelvic surgery 2 days ago and the recovery is awful. They had us take her home but she's in a lot of pain. We called the surgeon and the surgeon doesn't think there's anything serious going on. But still i just can't see her like this. She just lies in bed and she's very weak. I do my best to keep calm and positive in front of her but inside I'm freaking out.

Any reassurance would be helpful - stories of people who have been through this, any advice, what to expect? any positive vibes.
