Pink snotty discharge...any experience?

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm 8 weeks pregnant and this morning I had some pink snotty ewcm discharge. I've got myself all worked up cos I had an early loss in March and scared its happening again. I went up to the out of hours doctor and he basically just said its a wait and see scenario. Has anyone ever experienced this and it not be the start of miscarriage?
