I'm on my way to the Hospital to be induced. I ate a 12 and I'm not hungry now but is it okay to drink a bottle of water? I'm going to be in at 4:00pm.

Eat and drink!!! There is no reason why you shouldn't.

There is no evidence supporting the current policy of not eating or drinking while in labor. Have a loved one get you food and eat it when no one is around.

It depends how they induce you. I was able to eat with the pills(cytotec). It was only after starting pitocin they make you stop eating.

Eat and drink what you can now because once they start the induction the only thin you will be allowed is water and ice chips nothing else until after birth

I would eat a full meal if I were you. I didn't with my first induction and it was a mistake. It took 16 hours and I was starving and weak by the time I needed to push. My second induction I ate (no joke) steak and potatoes before going in and did much better. They won't let you eat or drink anything but ice chips once you're there.

You better drink it now cuz they won't let you have any after they start inducing you
