Mucus Plug — How much are they ??

Been losing mucus plug for seven days straight now. I've been losing A LOT of mucus plug everyday. How much are they actually ?? So far, no signs of labor; no contractions, nothing. And my due date is in 5 daysss. I also wonder if I should get an induction this week ? I'm afraid if I wait til past my due date, I still need to get induced anyways, and things will get more complicated by then (oversize baby, fetal distress etc) ?
