Am I being irrational? Be honest please.

Okay I am 18 and with an AMAZING guy and been with him for over a year. The thing is I know he's the one and he's checked off all the boxes that I look for in a man. I'm committed, I don't want anyone else but him and I truly do want to marry him some day. The only thing that worries me about him is that he rarely talks about the future. It's almost like it freaks him out to talk about it (he is 18 too btw) and he's even said himself that it isn't guaranteed that we'll get married bc anything can happen but that he does love me and wants to stay with me during college. However to me that doesn't sound very reassuring. Am I being irrational or crazy for expecting an 18 year old man to be committed to me already? (be honest please, you won't hurt my feelings i promise, i can handle the truth.) should i stay with him and just see where it goes? bc i really do love him with all my heart and he is a gen in this world and a truly good guy.
